This Broadway film plot was created during the minors’ strike and it is based on Billy’s life with his father and his brother who are both participating in the strike. In the film, Billy attends the gym with his father though he feels that he does not like this kind of sport as compared to dancing. He attends the gym since the part of the gym hall is used by the ballet dances and he feels drawn by the ballet dance teacher and with the teacher’s help, he starts attending the dancing class secretly and he starts taking these classes finally. Though the boxing teacher makes comments about him when he is not in, Billy continues to attend the ballet classes secretly.
As the Broadway play continues, Billy’s brother is arrested due to a misunderstanding between minors on strike and the policeman, making it had for Billy to attend the audition for the Royal Ballet Dancing School. His Ballet teacher then decides to inform Billy’s father about the importance of the auditions and his father lets him attend the auditions since he understands that Billy has a passion for ballet dancing and at the age of eleven years he is left to go out alone for the ballet dancing classes. This film comes to an end when the young boy Billy has reached his goals through ballet dancing and he takes to the stage during and performs. No additional ticket is needed for this Broadway classic as it is still part of a single show time.
