Pollstar reports that music fans received an early holiday gift this week in the form of the official dates for the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. The bands lined up for the annual summer festival won’t be announced until Dec. 18, but the Vans Warped Tour website did reveal that that tour will be scaling back one week due to school schedules. The first stop on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour will be at Chula Vista’s Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in San Diego, on June 24. From there, the tour will move to the Pomona Fairplex (June 25) followed by Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheater in the San Francisco Bay Area (June 26).

Other cities lined up for the 2010 Vans Warped Tour include Phoenix (June 29); San Antonio (July 1); Houston (July 2); Maryland Heights in St. Louis (July 9); Montreal (July 10); Camden (July 16); Orlando (July 25) and Denver (Aug. 8). After making its way to cities like Detroit, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Virginia Beach, the Warped Tour will wrap up at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro, Oregon on Aug. 15.
